Digitization Assistant

Details:

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday; 8am-5pm
• Work location: Quezon City (near Betty Go/Gilmore Ave. station via LRT2)

Work scope:

• Digitize library materials using scanners and/or digital cameras, following prescribed standards, specifications, and targets;
• Perform inspection, modification, and compilation of digitized images using editing software (cropping, re-sizing, rotating, enhancement, conversion, placing of watermark, re-naming) to improve access, retrieval, and use of digital collection;
• Record and update collection lists and work templates to monitor status of digitization activities;
• Assist in maintaining and updating storage of digital collection and its back-up;
• Assist in locating and retrieval of digital files from old databases and storage devices for migration and conversion to new accessible format/s;
