Dim Sum Maker-
The Dim Sum Maker is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dim sum dishes such as dumplings, siomai, siopao, and other steamed or fried items. The role requires skill in food preparation, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and sanitation standards to ensure that every dish meets the restaurant's standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients and fillings for dim sum items such as meats, vegetables, and dough.
Make dim sum products (siomai, dumplings, siopao, hakaw, buns) following standard recipes.
Steam, fry, or bake dim sum according to proper temperature and timing.
Ensure that all dishes are cooked thoroughly and presented neatly before serving.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, equipment, and utensils.
Monitor inventory of raw ingredients and finished products; report shortages to the supervisor.
