Environmental Services Manager

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Environmental Service Manager oversees the efficient operations of Environmental Services, including the Laundry, Housekeeping, and Maintenance departments. The Environmental Manager works continuously to improve processes within the available resources, leading the teams in all three departments in implementing resident-focused services. The role ensures residents’ safety and comfort by following Extendicare’s policies, procedures, and the Long-Term Care Act 2021 (FLTCA), upholding the principle that the long‑term care home is a place where residents live with dignity, security, safety, and comfort, meeting their physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural needs.
