Director, Human Resources

The Director, Human Resources (DHR) is responsible for aligning the organization’s people strategy with its overall business objectives. This role serves as a trusted advisor to the Board and Senior Leadership Team on all human capital matters, ensuring that HR initiatives drive business performance and organizational effectiveness.

The DHR anticipates and responds to evolving HR needs, workforce risks, and changes in employment legislation. The role partners across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees, while maintaining strong business acumen, including an understanding of the organization’s financial position, strategic priorities, culture, and competitive landscape.
