Director of Engineering

**_Role Overview:_**

We’re looking for a hands-on technical leader to lead our mission-critical McAfee ecommerce transaction systems, including Checkout and Retail Redemptions platforms that power global revenue. This leader will own the architecture, scalability, reliability, and modernization of systems built on front end technologies like react and Vue.js and Node.js (TypeScript)-based microservices.

This role is not a people management role and requires a hands-on technology leader who can dive deep into architecture and code when needed, leverage AI-powered engineering tools to improve team productivity, and use data to drive decision-making and revenue impact

This position is for candidates who are in Bangalore, India only. You will be required to be in office on need basis, typically 3-4 days per month. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to this location and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
