The Position

The Director of Instruction – Human Resources reports directly to the Secretary Treasurer and is a key member of the Senior Learning Team. Key responsibilities include:Contribute to the Human Resources Team in providing services that support the Board of Education’s Strategic Plan, and the commitment to Truth and Reconciliation and Antiracism.Provide strategic oversight into all staffing and recruitment initiatives.Support Human Resources and Labour Relation matters including managing workplace investigations, employee services, and grievances.Provide advice and guidance to Managers and Principals concerning the interpretation and administration of the collective agreements, policies, workplace legislation and regulations.Oversee, support and conduct evaluations and performance managementOversee the full-cycle recruitment, including selection of candidates, onboarding and orientation.Provide oversight of disability and leave processes including return-t...
