Director of Manufacturing Engineering

The Manufacturing Engineering Director will support new product development, new product introduction and cost out designing for existing product lines through sound execution of engineering principles and processes. A high level of 'hands-on technical capability and sound engineering principles are required to be successful in this position. Leads a team of engineers and provide coaching and guidance. Grooms, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function in the long sustainable manner.
Responsibilities
Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub‑assemblies and final assemblies.
Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
