This National Guard position is for a Director of Military Support (Title 32) (Indefinite), Position Description Number D1784000 and is part of the VA JFHQ DET HQ, National Guard. Responsibilities As a Director of Military Support (Title 32), GS-0301-12, you will perform the below duties: Develops, coordinates and implements joint contingency plans for domestic emergencies, civil disturbances, natural disasters, state and federal contingency operations. Plans involve consideration of physical security of military forces, facilities and equipment protection, intelligence evaluation, emergency communications structuring. Such programs deal with Homeland Defense/Security, WMD response, Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP), the Critical Infrastructure Protection Program (CIPP) and National Security Special events.
