Director of Rehabilitation Therapy

Job Summary:
The Director of Rehabilitation Therapy reports to Administrator of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Upstate Neurological Institute and provides strategic direction, coordinates all Rehab Therapy operations & finances. Will be working with medical directors, multispecialty team, nursing, business director, and business managers. Will be knowledgeable of all Rehab Therapy modalities provided to include assessment, care planning, therapy treatment for inpatients and outpatients, performs patient and family education in Rehab Therapy. Responsible for the overall direction of rehab therapy within Upstate Medical University and assists in day-to-day management planning, growth expansions and organization of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department.
