Director of Swimming

Due to a restructure focused around enhancing the quality of our coaching programme, Hamilton Aquatics is looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to take on the role of Director of Swimming . The purpose of the role is to lead the design, development, and delivery of our entire swimming pathway. This role oversees both Learn to Swim and Squad programmes (with a heavy focus on the squad programme), ensuring a high-quality, aligned, and sustainable structure that supports our swimmers from entry level through to elite performance.

The Director will lead programme standards, coaching quality, competition structures, and athlete development systems across all sites. This role is critical in delivering long-term athlete development, competitive success, and an outstanding member experience. While not responsible for a specific squad, the Director of Swimming will regularly be on poolside to mentor coaches and provide coaching cover when required.
