Director of Toxicology

Canadian Clinical Research Organization (CRO) requires a Director of Toxicology - this is a high-level scientific leadership role , focusing on overseeing all scientific study endeavours, and requiring an M.Sc. or Ph.D ., 10 years' experience in the pre-clinical industry, and preferably a DABT . Our client provides essential toxicology and laboratory testing services to worldwide biopharmaceutical organizations developing new molecules. vaccines, medical devices, drugs.

Excellent communication (English essential and French preferred) and leadership skills are required.

Relocation offered across Canada.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing departmental scientific operations and providing overall toxicology and scientific leadership
• Ensuring highest quality preclinical safety assessment programs
• GLP Regulatory compliance
• Overseeing research teams
• Guiding drug development strategy
