Director, Operations

**SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:**This position reports to the Vice President of Operations and exists for two reasons, 1) to manage a group of Silgan manufacturing facilities and insure each of the Plant Managers comply with the Silgan set of values as outlined in the Plant Managers’ job description, and 2) work with the commercial team to develop winning business strategies for both organic and new customer growth.**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:****LEADERSHIP:**Effective leadership is a key requirement for this job.
