**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

**We are offering to qualified and experience candidates a sign-on bonus not to exceed 10% of salary for this position.**

As the Director of Pharmacy for Mercy Hospital Bakersfield, you will be responsible for the oversight and coordination of daily Pharmacy Services operations in accordance with standards of practice, organizational policies/standards, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

In this role you will be tasked with meeting financial objectives in labor, revenue and gross margins, implementing performance improvement initiatives, evaluating department effectiveness in meeting clinical/service expectations, and troubleshooting pharmaceutical care issues.

The work you will do will require knowledge of the concepts, professional standards, and methodologies applicable to the pharmaceutical care, and of applicable regulatory requirements sufficient to ensure quality and compliant patient care....
