Job Description
- Establishes Quality and Reliability standards by studying Product and Consumer requirements with other members of Management as well as with Operations’ personnel.
- Establishes input material standards through engagement with manufacturing and engineering personnel; conferring, coaching and negotiating with suppliers; devising testing methods and procedures to ensure conformance.
- Establishes In-process Product and Process monitoring standards by understanding Product, Process & Customer needs; devising testing methods and procedures; enforcing compliance.
- Establishes standards for the disposition of finished product by devising evaluation tests, methods and procedures.
- Establishes rework standards, where applicable by devising inspection and physical testing methods and procedures.
- Establishes Product Quality documentation system by drafting and updating Quality Assurance procedures.
