Director, State Public Policy for Pharmacy and Pharmacy Benefit Management

The Director, State Public Policy, within Humana’s Government Affairs team, is responsible for shaping and executing state-level policy strategy, with a primary focus on pharmacy-related issues, including pharmacist licensure, pharmacy shared services, pharmacy benefit management (PBM), occupational and facility licensure, and federal preemption.
Reporting to the Vice President, Strategy & State Affairs, this role leads the development of state pharmacy policy, supports and informs advocacy efforts, and provides strategic guidance on legislative and regulatory developments affecting Humana’s business.
As an individual contributor, the Director plays a key role in advancing enterprise-wide policy positioning, strengthening advocacy effectiveness, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
