The Commission dates back to when Civil Service Commission was established by British Colonial Government following Holmes Commission Report, ; Civil Service Commission was advisory to the Governor in matters of appointments; At independence in it was enshrined in the constitution and renamed Public Service Commission; Independence Constitut.


Director – Wildlife Policy and Strategy

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:- 

  • Served for a minimum period of three years at the grade of Deputy Director of Wildlife, CSG 6 or in a comparable and in relevant position in the wider public ser-vice;

  • A Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines:- Environmental Science, Envi-ronmental Conservation and Natural Resource Management, Environmental Con-servation, Environmental Resource Conservation, Environmental Education, Envi-ronmental Management and Conservation, Environmental Stu...
