Disaster Technology and Communication Specialist

Leads design and implementation of disaster tech systems including EWS and IRS.

Responsibilities:

• Support in the design and delivery of technology-related activities outlined in the MRDP work plan, including technical assistance, specification finalization, integration support, and procurement processes.
• Review existing IT systems, monitoring dashboards, EWS, and IRS platforms to assess current capabilities and future needs;
  identify best practicesand benchmark systems across India and other states.
• Assist the preparation of Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Design Documents (FDD), and Technical Design Documents (TDD), and assist in drafting Terms of Reference and RFPs for technology service providers.
• Oversee the API integration and interoperability across various IT systems developed or adopted by the department.
