Dispatch & Fleet Operations Coordinator

Role Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Dispatch & Fleet Operations Coordinator to handle the logistics and dispatch for our refrigerated trucking fleet. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to manage operations, coordinate with drivers, and ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate has a background in logistics or fleet management and is comfortable using GPS software to track and manage truck operations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee daily dispatch operations for a fleet of 20 refrigerated trucks
– Track routes and vehicle locations with Samsara GPS tracking software
– Ensure refrigeration units meet temperature requirements
– Communicate with drivers to provide operational updates and schedule changes
– Monitor truck compliance with inspection schedules and regulations
– Handle documentation, invoicing, and communication with clients
– Resolve operational issues and delays quickly to ensure service continuity
