Dispatch Manager

Our client within the metals and manufacturing industry is looking for a skilled Dispatch - Logistics Manager. Applicants are required to have a completed Matric with a qualification in logistics or transport management. Experience within a similar role - logistics, dispatch or fleet management is required. Code 14 with PDP, is advantageous.

Duties & Responsibilities

A proven track record in managing teams and coordinating multiple vehicles, is required. The role entails the responsibility of efficient coordination, scheduling and dispatching a fleet of about 10 vehicles. 
Skills & Responsibilities: 

• Computer literate with experience in dispatch systems, Excel, or transport management software.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety and efficiency.
• Oversee daily dispatch operations and monitor the performance of all drivers and vehicles.
