Dispatcher (Amazon DSP)

Key Responsibilities

Live Dispatch (On-Road Support)

• Monitor active Cycle 1 routes in real time starting at 11:00 AM
• Support drivers with access issues, delivery problems, and route questions
• Coordinate rescues, sweeps, and route adjustments (in the coordination room with other dispatch)
• Track late routes and proactively mitigate delays

Driver Communication

• Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers via calls, texts, and chat
• Reinforce Amazon safety policies and DSP SOPs
• De-escalate issues and maintain calm, solutions-focused communication

Metrics & Performance

• Monitor and protect key Amazon DSP metrics, including:
• On-Time Delivery (OTD)
• Returns
• DCR / DNR
• Safety and compliance flags
• Identify trends that may impact performance and alert leadership
