Involves the completion of administrative tasks and coordination relating to the front-line operation which may include data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, despatch activities and local customer service.While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities.
**General Job Description**:Under general supervision perform the following activities:- Dispatches couriers for pickups and deliveries ensuring maximum efficiencies and effectiveness in service.
- Monitors and evaluates route loads to ensure balance of workload, flexibility of workforce, reassignments, and to provide coverage in the event of breakdowns.
- Organizes pick-up/delivery requests for customers according to location and reroutes couriers when necessary.
- Handles all customer incoming calls on all pickup/delivery related matters.
