Job Description
We are currently looking for a DISPATCHER/CSR at our Belleville location.
This is a permanent, full-time position, Monday to Friday, onsite at our office located at 659 College St. East.
The purpose of this position is to broker freight for Canadian and US customers, handle LTL and FTL shipments, and build and maintain relationships with carriers, and negotiate rates.
BOOKING/DISPATCHING FREIGHT:
Enter loads into system from customers.
Finding the proper carrier partner to handle the pick-up and delivery required by customer.
Negotiate rate with partner carriers.
Book outbound loads with dispatch utilizing Load Link, and contacting carriers.
Take orders and build trips for carriers.
Build truck manifests for the dock in order to load/unload freight.
