DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES SPECIALIST in the SUPPLY MATERIAL SUPPORT DIVISION, SUPPLY DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will have practical knowledge of basic supply program operations, when such work requires the application of some judgement and analysis to provide services or resolve problems. You will perform recurring kinds of assignments, operations and/or procedures in providing services and resolving issues and problems of a procedural nature in the supply operation of the Material Kiting Branch. You will search for and analyze information, trace sequences of transactions to resolve questions, prepare entries for supply record systems, and provide supply information, reports, and services. You will recommend actions to eliminate problems involved in delivering services of managing material removed from submarines to a designated refurbishment location.
