Doctoral Researcher, How plant-microbial interactions shape species diversity

Position at the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, University of Jyväskylä, Finland. The research follows a Research Council of Finland‑funded project under Associate Professor Nerea Abrego (Predictive Community Ecology Group).

Project Description

Investigate how microbial‑driven functions shape plant phenotypes and diversity along abiotic gradients in the Arctic environment. The study combines fieldwork in Finnish Lapland, greenhouse experiments, DNA/RNA molecular analyses, and joint species distribution modelling to predict biodiversity responses to global change.

Duties
