PhD Position in Extracellular Vesicle Research (Experimental & Clinical Pharmacology) – Semmelweis University, Budapest
Position Summary
We are recruiting a PhD student / doctoral candidate to join the Extracellular Vesicle (EV) Research Group at the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy, Semmelweis University, led by Dr. Zoltán Giricz.
The Research Group focuses on uncovering the roles of extracellular vesicles in cardiovascular diseases, with particular emphasis on their diagnostic and prognostic potential, and on their pharmacological application as cardioprotective agents. In parallel, the group develops and applies advanced EV isolation and characterization techniques.
The candidate will work in a full-time, on-site research position in Budapest, embedded in a multidisciplinary environment combining pharmacology, cardiovascular biology, and translational medicine.
