Overview
Setting : Clinic & Hospitals
Role : Assisting local doctors and nurses at understaffed facilities; Observing clinical practice in a different cultural setting; Developing your communication skills; and Gaining hands-on medical experience. Qualified medical professionals are able to help with more hands-on tasks including: Cleaning wounds and suturing, Giving injections, Assisting doctors with physical exams, Taking patient histories, Giving vaccinations, Drawing blood samples, and/or Basic physiotherapy assistance.
Time Commitment : Min. 1 Week
When : Ongoing; Starts every Monday
