Donor Centre Associate - Phlebotomist Role

Become a part-time Phlebotomist with Canadian Blood Services in Kelowna, BC, dedicated to safe and effective blood collection. Use your client service skills to improve the donor experience.
This role with the Collections team requires you to perform phlebotomy according to health standards and provide high-quality service to donors. Your expertise will ensure safety during the collection process while you monitor donor comfort and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform safe venipuncture following established procedures
• Conduct eligibility screenings and donor registrations
• Ensure accurate documentation of blood products
• Provide post-donation care and support
• Assist in setting up for mobile blood clinics
Requirements:
• High school diploma required
• Training in phlebotomy or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in customer service roles
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook
• Speaking additional languages is advantageous
