Drainage Labourer

Tradestaff Waikato is looking for reliable Drainage Labourers to support a civil crew on drainage and infrastructure projects across the region.
This is a great opportunity to get involved in hands-on civil construction work and be part of a solid team delivering important infrastructure projects.
About the RoleYou’ll be working alongside machine operators and under the direction of the Foreman, assisting with drainage installation, site preparation, and general labouring duties. This role suits someone physically fit, safety-conscious, and willing to get stuck in.
Key Responsibilities

Assisting with trenching and pipe laying

Moving materials and tools around site

Spotting for machine operators

Compacting, backfilling, and general site clean-up

Following instructions from the Foreman and operators

Maintaining safe work practices on active civil sites
