Job Description
The key role of a Drama Elective Leader for Charterhouse Summer School is to deliver up to 8 hours of high-quality tuition per week as part of the afternoon Elective programme. Reporting to the Course Director and Assistant Director, Elective Leaders plan and deliver engaging, interactive sessions, assess student progress, and contribute to a safe and positive environment. Staff complete one two-hour teaching session per day over a five-day working week. Two days off are allocated on a rota basis.
Support and supervise students during Elective sessions, ensuring a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Plan and deliver dynamic, fun, and communicative drama sessions in line with the Elective programme and guidance from the Course Director. Guide students in completing and performing mini drama projects, building their confidence and creative skills.
Maintain accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student progress.
