Driver (Trailer/ Low Loader)

Responsibilities

1. Operate lorries to transport goods, ensuring timely delivery to destinations.
2. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
3. Load and unload goods safely, ensuring they are properly secured and handled to prevent damage.
4. Use GPS and other navigation tools to select the most efficient routes and avoid potential delays.
5. Interact and represent the company professionally with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
6. Maintain accurate delivery records, including delivery logs, invoices, and any necessary paperwork.
7. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or incidents to the supervisor.
8. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while driving and handling merchandise.
9. Ensure that all necessary permits, licenses, and documentation are up-to-date and comply with legal requirements.
