As the Backup Operations Engineer you manage follow the sun model of backup operations, ensuring adherence to policies, schedules, and SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily health checks for backups and replication, troubleshoot issues, and perform restores as needed.
Lead or support cloud-based migrations with a focus on automation, capacity planning, and cross-team coordination.
Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) by selecting appropriate technologies, conducting continuity testing, and ensuring compliance.
Participate in on-call rotations, planned maintenance, change and asset management processes.
