Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Material Transport: Safely transport, load, and unload materials such as dirt, rocks, sand, gravel, or debris.
• Vehicle Operation: Drive dump trucks, including articulated, transfer, or belly dumps, in various conditions to job sites, mines, or disposal areas.
• Maintenance & Inspection: Perform mandatory daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (checking tires, oil, lights, fluid levels) and perform minor maintenance to ensure safe operating condition.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to DOT regulations, weight restrictions, and site-specific safety protocols to prevent accidents and damage.
• Documentation & Communication: Maintain accurate driver logs, mileage records, and fuel tickets, and communicate with dispatchers regarding schedules and traffic.
