E & I Technician

Job description:
This role is designed to implement continuous improvements, electrical and instrument design and fault analysis designated to fully automated machines to meet specific performance criteria in respect of safety, people, production, quality and engineering availability. Provide high level support to the Shift artisans and the specialised engineering maintenance team.
Roles and Responsibilities
Analyse E&I unplanned downtime and assist in generating reports per section.
Implement E&I initiatives to reduce engineering downtime.
Report back to the Plant Engineer and Maintenance Manager on E&I related downtime.
Ensure that implementation conforms to the engineering standards and world class asset care systems and practices.
Proactively assist with root cause analysis of major breakdown repairs using appropriate problem-solving methodologies.
Carry out work according to prioritisation as received from the Plant engineer.
