EAC Customs Clearance Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled
Customs Clearance & Import/Export Officer
with strong experience in
EAC customs procedures
to manage end-to-end customs clearance operations across
Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, South Sudan, and other EAC countries
. The role requires in-depth knowledge of
EAC customs regulations, KRA systems, transit cargo handling
, and excellent coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliant and timely cargo movement.

Key Responsibilities

Customs Clearance & Compliance

• Handle customs clearance operations for imports and exports within Kenya and across EAC member states.
• Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations including
  EX1, EXIT/MOVEMENT C2
  , and other related documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with
  EAC Customs Management Act, KRA regulations, and customs policies
