Early Childhood Education - Teacher/Associate Teacher

Title: Teacher/Associate Teacher Program: MAOF Child Care/Pre-School (Ventura County) Salary: Teacher: $22.71 per hour – Associate Teacher: $21.93 per hour Openings: 1 Position FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full Time Closing Date: Open until filled GENERAL PURPOSE To deliver direct care, guidance, and instruction to children at the MAOF Child Care and Development Centers. This includes facilitating activities aimed at promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth that stimulate learning in alignment with the developmental stages of each child. RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY: Under the direction of the Site Supervisor, assumes responsibilities for instructing and supervising groups of children, preparing and following lesson plans, assessing and documenting children’s development, and supervising teacher’s assistant and volunteer staff assigned.
