Early Childhood Lead Teacher Toddler Room - Petes Place

Supervision of Toddlers ages 19 months to 3 years old. Under general supervision, and according to specific procedures, the Lead Teacher (ECLT) is responsibility of planning and executing classroom activities, assisting in the maintenance of a safe, healthy and stimulating classroom environment, provide constant supervision of children at all times including planning time, outside play, meal time, and nap time. Assists in the monitoring and training of Assistant Teacher (ECAT), trainees and supportive staff. Maintains sensitivity to children’s individuality and responds to those needs appropriately and quickly by guiding the behavior of children in positive, effective ways. Maintains the highest level of professionalism at all times. Encourage experimentation, exploration, problem solving, cooperation, socialization to promote further learning and thinking.
