EARLY LEARNING CENTER EDUCATOR

JOB SUMMARY

The ELC Educator is responsible for providing initial and ongoing education and training to ELC Staff. The job includes orienting all employees so that they understand every aspect of their role, including but not limited to DCFS regulations, health and safety regulations, Accreditation, and Illinois ExceleRate program regulations. The ELC Educator will facilitate Individual Education plans for each Teacher and Teacher Assistant and help them achieve credentials and Teacher Education status. The ELC Educator will serve as a preceptor and will work with supervisors to ensure competency for all classroom staff.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Blessing Hospital.
