ED SRMO - Manning

The opportunity 

This is a 180-bed rural hospital 3 hours from Sydney with the Emergency Department seeing over 33,000 patients per year. You will be working with an extensive team of VMO's and GP's. Day or afternoons shifts available. The hospital provides general medical and surgical services and is supported by retrieval teams from John Hunter and Sydney Children's Hospital.

The location 

This hospital is located in the historic town of Taree, nestled along the shores of the Manning River. The region is home to world-class beaches such as One Mile Beach at Forster or Seal Rocks. The community has incredible bushwalks with stunning waterfalls and lookouts. The town has many attractions where you can swim, kayak or fish.

The area is home to a variety of dining options and local attractions and is accessible through Taree Airport, or through flights into Port Macquarie or Newcastle Airports, 1 to 1.5 hour drives respectively.
