Key Responsibilities:



Setting up and operating edge banding machines, which apply materials like PVC, wood veneer, or laminate to the edges based on product specifications and desired aesthetics.



Choosing the correct edge banding material



Adjusting machine settings (e.g., conveyor speed, temperature) to match the material and product dimensions based on product specifications and desired aesthetics



Inspecting finished products to ensure the edge banding is applied accurately, smoothly, and without defects



Performing routine maintenance on the edge banding machine, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs



Diagnosing and resolving issues with the machine or materials during operation



Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe work environment
