Eds Design And Release Engineer

The EDS Design and Release (D&R) Engineer is responsible for the design, development, validation, and release of the wiring harnesses under her/his responsibility.
The EDS D&R is also responsible for design improvements that lead to quality increase, cost and weight optimizations.
**Skills required for the position**:
- Engineering Degree (electrical desirable) or related disciplines.
- Strong English Proficiency (written, read, and oral).
- Basic 3D CAD Knowledge (Tce)
- Microsoft Office Usage (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio).
- Time and Project Management.
- Understanding of feature partitioning.
- Understanding of automotive systems.
**Specific tasks/responsibilities**
- Complies with program cost, weight, quality, performance and timing targets.
- Complies with Robustness Engineering Disciplines (Quality history, P-Diagram, FMEA, etc.)
- Leads Technical Design Reviews (TDRs)
