Educational Aide (SPED Assessor)

Summary About the Position: This position is located at Humphreys Middle School, Camp Humphreys at 65 hours per pay period. All candidates must reside within the local commuting area where the position is located. Local commuting area is defined as the geographic area surrounding a work site that encompasses the localities where people live and reasonably can be expected to travel back and forth daily to work based on the generally held expectations of the local community. (5 CFR 575.203) Responsibilities Enter assessment data into school level data management system. Provide clerical support in order to assist the Special Education Assessor. Communicate with appropriate personnel to notify them of suspense dates and when each phase of the assessment process is completed. Coordinate with ISS Special Education for outside evaluation requests. Ensure required forms, reports and protocols are organized and completed for turn-over.
