Job Description
**Overview**
The Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist II (High Density EEG) will perform routine, extended and high-density EEG studies to support neurological diagnosis and research within the inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and in the outpatient Sleep Electroencephalographic (EEG) Clinic. This role is responsible for electrode placement, patient monitoring, and data acquisition to ensure high‑quality recordings while maintaining patient comfort and safety, in collaboration with neurologists, neuroscientists, and research teams.
**Responsibilities**
1. Perform routine, extended, and high‑density EEG recordings (64–128 channel systems), including application of high‑density electrode caps, electrode digitization, and verification of appropriate impedance levels.
2. Monitor recordings in real time to ensure data quality and artifact reduction.
