Overview

The Environmental, Health & Safety Compliance Specialist is a major role within Interstate Batteries’ Compliance Team. This person is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring regulatory policies relevant to all business segments of the Interstate Batteries Enterprise. This role will also be a vehicle for enhancing strategic partner relations by serving as a consultant to third parties on regulatory issues.

• Visit company-owned business locations to observe field activities and assess compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Act independently to review and evaluate compliance issues/concerns within the Company; investigate and resolve as is appropriate
