EHS Officer

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, customer-centric individual to join the Health and Safety Team at our Amaro Foods Central Office, Epping.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Implement safety, health and environmental (EHS) policies, standards, procedures, programs, and systems.
2. Coordinate EHS legal appointment requirements.
3. Ensure health and safety and environmental inspections of the workplace and liaise with workplace management on implementation and monitoring plans.
4. Undertake EHS Management System audits.
5. Participate in internal and external EHS audits.
6. Ensure that EHS audit findings are resolved as per the action plan.
7. Participate in EHS-related forums.
8. Participate in ad hoc EHS projects supporting the business's objectives and goals.
9. Document and report near misses, and minor and disabling injuries, as required.
