EHS Specialist

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

The purpose of this job is to support the EHS & Facilities Manager in maintaining and improving the EHS System and ensuring internal and external compliance in Environmental and Health & Safety matters.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

As a member of the EHS & Facilities Department, the EHS Specialist will perform tasks for 2 locations in Belgium.

+ Support the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager in EHS roles and responsibilities.
+ Collaborate with all departments involved to mitigate EHS risks and threats.
+ Actively promote the EHS culture and support compliance with corporate EHS standards and local legislation, including:
+ **EHS Metrics:** Follow-up, reporting, escalation of near misses, accidents, energy, water, and waste.
+ **Environmental Management System (EMS):** Act as steward of ISO 14001 and support compliance with corporate EMS requirements.
