EKG Technician MUSC Florence EKG Unit - PRN

Job Description

The EKG technician assumes responsibility and accountability for performing electrocardiograms on customers ranging in age from infant to the aged. The EKG technician is responsible for processing EKGs performed by the Cardiovascular Laboratory and other departments in the hospital. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.

Additional Job Description

Education: Successful completion of EKG Program; High School Degree or Equivalent
License: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
