Elder Care Provider

We are a family in Oakville, Ontario, seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver and companion for my mom.
This is a live out part time job for 9-15hrs per week in Kerr Village. My mom is a very funny and charismatic lady. She is 73 years young, a recent breast cancer survivor who has been recently diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s. She also suffers from hip and knee arthritis which has greatly affected her mobility and she is prone to falls.
Although her memory has declined, she is very independent and does not need help with dressing, showering or the bathroom.
We are looking for someone to come 3 days a week to socialize, groceries/errands, help her with emails, understanding voicemails, making appointments, occasionally taking her to appointments (a clean driver’s license is required). Some light housekeeping and pet care ( cat litter) would also be required.
My mom is really funny, she’s very smart and since her mobility issues she hasn’t been socializing...
