Basildon Borough Council is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Elections Manager to lead and manage the Council's Electoral Services Team. The role is critical in ensuring the effective delivery of all statutory electoral functions for the authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support the Electoral Services Team, ensuring statutory duties are fully met in line with all relevant legislation and Electoral Commission guidance.
• Oversee the compilation, maintenance and supply of the Register of Electors for Basildon Borough.
