Leap29 is assisting a leading global client in the data center sector to hire an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of critical infrastructure projects across South Africa. In this role, you will be responsible for developing electrical system designs (MV/LV), coordinating with civil and mechanical teams, and interfacing with Eskom and local utilities to ensure reliable power supply. You’ll also contribute to implementing energy‑efficient and resilient solutions that meet the region’s growing demand for sustainable data center capacity.
