Electrical Design Engineer - E3

Job Description
The E3 Electrical Controls Engineer is assigned and leads electrical and controls workstreams within larger automation projects, taking responsibility for execution from concept through commissioning while maintaining regular communication with leadership on project status, risks, and technical direction. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include independently translating machine and process concepts into complete electrical designs, defining required I/O, selecting sensors, scanners, safety devices, and control hardware, and producing detailed schematics using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent tools. The engineer develops, integrates, and debugs PLC programs using ControlLogix and OMRON CJ/NJ platforms, with a strong understanding of system integration across controls, robotics, and automation technologies.
